What are Evidence Based Practices?
Evidence-based practices (EBPs) are treatment and recovery interventions that have been tested by researchers and are shown to be consistently related to the results that clients and referring agencies want. The researchers collect evidence over time to show whether or not a particular treatment is effective. Dial Help is committed to using Evidence Based Practices whenever possible.
SAMHSA’s National Registry of Evidence Based Programs and Practices is one registry to learn more about some Evidence Based Programs. While extensive it is not exhaustive.
