Dial Help takes pride in offering an array of intervention and prevention services to Upper Peninsula residents, including confidential walk-in services during business hours, and telephone crisis intervention 365 days a year.
In order to maintain the services we provide we’re going to need your help! Our operating costs are almost entirely funded through community support and, therefore, we rely on the donations of faithful community members who believe in our cause. Listed below are some of the ways you can help us:

Support Dial Help while you shop:
Since we realize that many people resort to online shopping here in the U.P., we’re making it easy for you to get involved and make a donation.
Dial Help is a member of IGIVE.com, an online shopping mall that makes it possible for you to buy items at one of IGIVE’s 600 stores and support a local cause like Dial Help.
By purchasing an item through IGIVE.com, Dial Help will receive up to 26 percent of the purchase price (not including tax, or shipping and handling).

Long-term giving:
If you prefer to become a long-term donor of Dial Help, the Keweenaw Community Foundation (KCF) may be the option that’s right for you.
Giving through the KCF has many benefits including:
Gifts may be claimed for the Michigan Community Foundation tax credit
A gift may be designated for a specific purpose
A gift continues to benefit the community in future years
Michigan law permits individuals and businesses to reduce their Michigan income tax or Michigan single business tax by a credit of up to 50 percent of the amount contributed to a permanent endowment of KCF.
As a donor through the KCF, you are entitled to have your gift information held in confidence, be listed in our publications, be added to our mailing list, and have access to our foundation publications such as the annual report and staff and board information.

Donate a gift of stock
Gifts of appreciated stock help you avoid paying a capital gains tax on the stock’s increased value and you receive an income tax deduction for the stock’s full fair market value on the date you made the gift.
