The library invites everyone to celebrate its 100th birthday on Thursday, February 18. Cake and ice cream will be served beginning at noon. A display of memorabilia will commemorate 100 years of community service which began on February 18, 1910 in what is now the Carnegie Museum. The museum and the library will co-host celebrations later in the spring that pay tribute to a century of great community service.
Library programs are free and open to all. For more information, please call the library at 482-4570 or visit www.pldl.org.
